About the Role
Skyline Recruitment is representing an established Vancouver-based real estate owner looking to add a Project Coordinator or Senior Project Coordinator to their construction team.
The role will initially be primarily office-based in Vancouver with regular site visits and the potential to become increasingly site-focused as projects progress.
Our client is looking for someone who has developed a strong construction foundation, ideally through an established General Contractor where they have been exposed to good systems, processes and project controls.
Residential construction experience is preferred, with high-rise experience considered particularly valuable.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Supporting Project Managers across multiple construction projects.
Coordinating consultants, contractors, trades and internal stakeholders.
Assisting with project schedules, budgets and construction documentation.
Managing RFIs, submittals, change documentation and meeting minutes.
Tracking procurement, project deliverables and outstanding action items.
Reviewing drawings, specifications and construction documentation.
Supporting tendering and contractor procurement.
Attending site meetings and monitoring construction progress.
Assisting with cost tracking, change orders and project reporting.
Supporting deficiency management, project close-out and turnover.
What We’re Looking For
Approximately 2–5 years’ construction industry experience.
Experience working as a Project Coordinator or Senior Project Coordinator with a General Contractor is strongly preferred.
Residential construction experience is preferred.
High-rise residential experience would be considered a strong asset.
BCIT construction education or an equivalent technical qualification would be advantageous.
Strong understanding of construction documentation and project coordination.
Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with contractors and consultants.
Someone looking to continue developing towards a Project Manager position.
