Marine Structural Project Manager
Vancouver area, BC (Burnaby office) | C$100,000–C$160,000 annual base salary
We are recruiting a Marine Structural Project Manager for an engineering consultancy serving ports, terminals and waterfront infrastructure. You will combine technical oversight with client advisory work and responsibility for project delivery.
Responsibilities
Lead marine infrastructure assignments from feasibility and concept development through detailed design and construction support.
Oversee structural designs, upgrades and rehabilitation solutions for waterfront and terminal facilities.
Help clients assess expansion options, operational needs and project risks.
Manage scopes, budgets, schedules and multidisciplinary project teams.
Review engineering deliverables and undertake site visits and condition inspections.
Prepare proposals, maintain client relationships and mentor technical staff.
Qualifications
Strong marine structural engineering experience, ideally 10–15 years.
P.Eng. registration with EGBC.
Experience delivering port, harbour, terminal or comparable waterfront projects.
Ability to lead teams and manage project finances and client expectations.
Sound technical judgement and clear written and verbal communication.
Structural analysis software experience, such as SAP2000 or STAAD, is an asset.
Comfort working at operating facilities and construction sites.
Compensation
Annual base salary of C$100,000–C$160,000, depending on experience and the scope of responsibility.
