Job Title: Senior Estimator, Construction

Job Summary:
Our Client is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Estimator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in estimating large-scale industrial construction projects, with significant experience in design-build and construction management. This role requires an individual who can quickly integrate into our operations, take ownership of their work, and contribute to our diverse portfolio of cold storage and food processing facility projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the estimation process for industrial construction projects ranging from $3 million to $90 million.
- Prepare comprehensive and competitive estimates for design-build proposals and construction management jobs.
- Develop estimates for hard bid projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand project scope, requirements, and client expectations.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare thorough cost estimates.
- Identify and assess potential risks and opportunities within project estimates.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of market conditions, material costs, and labor rates relevant to industrial construction.
- Work independently to manage and prioritize multiple estimating projects simultaneously.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Several years of proven experience as a Senior Estimator, ideally with a general contractor.
- Demonstrated experience in industrial construction
- Strong background in design-build and construction management.
- Ability to estimate projects across a broad value range ($3 million to $90 million).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools relevant to the construction industry.
- A strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
Compensation:
A competitive salary range of $110,000 to $140,000 annually, commensurate with experience and background.
