About the Role: Skyline Recruitment is seeking a
Project Manager – Hazardous Materials on behalf of a well-established
environmental consulting firm for their
Ottawa office. This role is ideal for an experienced environmental consultant who enjoys a
mix of field and project leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities: - Perform occasional fieldwork and manage hazardous materials projects.
- Oversee project management, ensuring deliverables stay on schedule and within budget.
- Prepare and manage proposals, bids, and tenders.
- Mentor and develop junior staff.
- Draft and review technical reports to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Build and strengthen client relationships, with preference for candidates who can bring an existing client network.
Qualifications & Experience: - 5+ years of experience in Environmental Consulting and Hazardous Materials (Designated Substances).
- Strong Project Management background within the industry.
- Hands-on experience with budgeting, proposals, and scheduling.
- Expertise in hazardous materials assessments and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff.
- Excellent technical report writing skills.
