Junior Air Engineer (3+ Years Experience) Location: Peterborough, ON

Salary: $21–24/hour (commensurate with experience)
Skyline Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a well-established environmental consulting and engineering firm in Ontario. We are seeking a Junior Air Engineer with 3 or more years of experience in air emissions assessment and environmental compliance to join their growing team in Peterborough, ON.
About the Opportunity: This position offers the chance to support a wide range of environmental compliance projects related to air quality, emissions modeling, data analysis, and regulatory reporting. You will work closely with project leads and multidisciplinary teams to provide practical, technical solutions for clients in the industrial, institutional, and public sectors.
Key Responsibilities: - Analyze air emissions data and assist with regulatory compliance reporting
- Support air dispersion modeling and emissions monitoring projects
- Research and apply pollution control technologies and mitigation strategies
- Prepare technical documents and reports in line with environmental regulations
- Assist in regulatory audits and client communications
- Collaborate with team members across various project types
- Perform occasional fieldwork in all weather conditions
- Travel and some overtime may be required
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental or Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in air quality or environmental compliance
- Familiarity with environmental legislation such as the Environmental Protection Act, Environmental Assessment Act, and Ontario Regulations 419/05 and 153/04
- Strong technical writing and data interpretation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint)
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Valid G-Class driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
