We're looking for a Intermediate Health and Safety Professional to join our Ontario Region team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in our mission to uphold the highest standards of safety and health across a range of projects including construction, landfill, mining, and municipal initiatives.
What You'll Do: - Collaborate with the Regional HSE Manager to deliver and enhance our HSE Management System.
- Develop and implement effective HSE programs and procedures.
- Lead internal and external audits and manage Certificate of Recognition (COR) in Ontario.
- Direct training programs, including onboarding and specialized HSE training.
- Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and manage injury claims.
- Drive safety initiatives, promote preventative actions, and support emergency management programs.
What We’re Looking For: - 5+ years of health and safety experience, ideally in construction or environmental sectors.
- Familiarity with COR/ISO 18001/45001 and risk management programs.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian occupational health and safety laws.
- Proven skills in incident investigation, HSE program development, and team collaboration.
- CRSP designation or equivalent certification is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within a diverse team.
