About the Opportunity
Skyline Recruitment is currently partnering with a long-standing environmental consulting firm in Barrie that is expanding its contaminant and environmental site assessment team.
Our client is seeking an Environmental Scientist or Hydrogeologist with strong experience in Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA).
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of Phase I and Phase II ESA proposals and reports
- Conducting work in accordance with CSA standards and O.Reg. 153/04
- Coordination of Phase II field programs
- Locate requests
- Field scheduling
- Contractor coordination
- Field note review and documentation
- Technical report writing and regulatory documentation
- Liaising with regulatory agencies and stakeholders
- Supporting contaminant hydrogeology investigations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant consulting experience (intermediate to senior considered)
- Experience preparing and coordinating Phase I/II ESAs
- Working knowledge of Ontario Regulation 153/04
- Strong technical writing and organizational skills
- Hydrogeological experience considered an asset
- QPESA or QPRA designation not required but considered beneficial

- Salary range: $70K–$120K depending on experience
