About the Role:
As a Senior Environmental Engineer, you will be instrumental in managing projects and providing leadership to the engineering team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Project management and organization of on-site investigations.
- Client liaison and management, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Preparation of technical proposals and writing environmental reports.
- Attendance at site and office meetings.
- Reviewing Phase One Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and managing full-cycle Phase Two ESAs.
- Supervising and implementing field programs, including soil and groundwater monitoring and sampling procedures.
- Conducting data compilation, assessment, and interpretation.
- Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and guidelines.
- Preparation, review, and updating of technical reports, including remedial action plans.
- Mentoring junior colleagues and participating in strategic business development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum MSc Degree in Geo-environmental or Geoscience, or relevant Engineering discipline.
- Professional Designation (P. Geo. or P. Eng.).
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in environmental consulting.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Qualified Person for Environmental Site Assessment (QPESA).
