Junior Project Manager – Assessment & Remediation

Position Overview
We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to join the Assessment & Remediation (A&R) group in Vancouver. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career environmental professional looking to advance their project management responsibilities while continuing to develop strong technical and client-facing skills.
In this role, you will support a variety of environmental assignments—from initial fieldwork through final reporting. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers and project managers and have opportunities to grow your leadership, technical capabilities, and client relationship skills within a collaborative and development-focused consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in managing and delivering environmental projects, including:
– Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
– Baseline Property Condition Assessments (BPCAs)
– Designated Substances Surveys (DSSs)
– Remediation and RSC/CSR-related work
– Air quality and regulatory compliance projects
• Coordinate and conduct fieldwork, including sampling, contractor supervision, and site inspections.
• Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and project documentation with senior staff guidance.
• Support client liaison activities, including project updates, communication, and relationship management.
• Provide administrative and business development support, including proposals, budgeting, and schedule coordination.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety requirements and maintain accurate field and data records.
• Contribute to team success through collaboration, continuous learning, and professional integrity.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geoscience, or related field.
• Registration or eligibility for EIT/P.Eng., GIT/P.Geo. is an asset.
• 1–4 years of relevant consulting or project coordination experience preferred.
• Strong technical writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS, or data management tools is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for field assignments (mileage reimbursed).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: $75,000 – $90,000, depending on experience.
