About the Role
We are representing a well-established construction company with a strong reputation across the Lower Mainland. Our client is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to support continued growth across the business.
This role is ideal for someone coming from a sales, construction, real estate, or subcontractor background who is eager to learn, build relationships, and generate new business opportunities. You will play a key role in developing client relationships, identifying new opportunities, attending industry events, and supporting long-term business growth.
The successful candidate will be outgoing, proactive, and confident getting on the phone, meeting clients, and representing the business within the industry.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Developing new business opportunities and building relationships across the construction and real estate industry.
Maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients and industry partners.
Attending networking events, industry functions, and client meetings.
Generating leads through outreach, relationship building, and market research.
Supporting proposal submissions, presentations, and client communications.
Working closely with leadership to identify growth opportunities and market trends.
Managing client follow-ups and maintaining regular communication with prospects and partners.
Representing the company professionally and helping expand brand presence within the market.
Supporting overall business growth initiatives and contributing to long-term client retention.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in sales, business development, construction, real estate, or a related industry.
Construction or real estate knowledge is considered a strong asset.
Experience working with developers, contractors, or subcontractors is beneficial.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable with outbound calls, networking, and face-to-face meetings.
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and grow within the industry.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple relationships and priorities.
Professional, personable, and confident representing the business externally.
