We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Project Manager to join their dynamic team and contribute to the successful delivery of landmark projects valued at $150M and above.
Position Overview: The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will support the Project Manager and project team throughout the full project life cycle—from pre-construction through to project closeout. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience managing large-scale ICI projects, proficiency in Procore, and a passion for delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale ICI construction projects.
Support all phases of the project life cycle, including tendering, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and closeout.
Use Procore software to manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress tracking.
Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain clear project objectives.
Track project costs, review invoices, and assist in preparing progress reports.
Participate in site meetings, safety inspections, and coordination sessions to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities for process improvement throughout the project.
Maintain project files, correspondence, and documentation to ensure accurate and organized record keeping.
Qualifications
3–7 years of experience in the construction industry, ideally in ICI or large commercial projects.
Proven experience with Procore project management software (required).
Involvement in large-scale ICI projects ($150M+), preferably through the full project life cycle.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, drawings, and specifications.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project) and other construction management tools.
Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
